Villeroy & Boch, a renowned global brand, is seeking a skilled and passionate Software Engineer to join our expanding Data Science & Analytics team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming innovative data and AI concepts into robust, scalable software solutions.

Your tasks:

• Collaborate within a team of experts to analyze and evaluate data science use cases for feasibility and scalability.
• Design and develop cutting-edge IT solutions based on technical requirements, translating ideas into concrete software architectures.
• Lead the agile implementation and professionalization of prototypes in a cloud environment, integrating them into our production systems (including Salesforce).
• Mentor junior developers and manage external teams, fostering a collaborative environment for software development and testing.
• Drive excellence by establishing and implementing software engineering standards across internal and external teams.

Your profile:

• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field with a strong quantitative focus.
• 3+ years of proven experience in software development, with a track record of mentoring junior developers.
• Proficiency in German and English.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Expertise in statistical methods and their application in a business context.
• Strong programming skills (Python preferred) and experience developing software architecture for backend and frontend systems.
• Experience in a cloud environment is a plus.
