We use the latest AI technologies to develop and operate innovative solutions for a range of business fields, from Customer Experience through Category Management to Logistics. What You’ll Do
Develop innovative, analytical data products and architectures to improve our business processes
Take analytical applications from proof of concept through to production and ensure that they are high quality and future-proof
Be responsible for the software development process and set new standards for development and deployment
Use the toolbox of a data engineer to convert the requirements of AI products into productive applications
Work as part of an interdisciplinary, agile team alongside data scientists, data engineers, product owners, and departments
Act as a coach and mentor for fellow team members, with an excellent ability to analyze and solve technical problem
What you’ll need
A passion for software development and for creating a diverse range of data products
Several years of experience in software development, e.g. using Python or Java
Good knowledge of the architecture of applications and the software development cycle (e.g., CL/CD, DevOps, testing)
Experience in the areas cloud, containerization, and big data, ideally with MS Azure, Kubernetes, and Spark
Analytical skills, an agile mindset, the ability to work independently, and a hands-on mentality
Excellent command of English, preferably also good German skills
Degree in information technology, or a talented lateral entrant
