GEHC STO AI team is seeking a talented Data Software Engineer to join our team. This role combines data engineering, software development, and front-end web tool development skills to build data processing pipelines and robust, data-driven applications with intuitive web interfaces.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Develop and optimize databases and data warehouses.
  • Implement data models and schemas to support analytics and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Develop software applications that interact with data systems.
  • Create APIs for data access and integration.
  • Implement front-end solutions for data visualization and user interfaces.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in computer science or related areas
  • 2 years of industry experiences
  • Proficiency in programming language Python.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with data processing frameworks (Apache Spark, Hadoop).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with healthcare data management and regulations.
  • Understanding of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance.
  • Knowledge of Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) standards.
  • Experience with handling and processing medical imaging data.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $136,000.00-$204,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
