While our current implementation focuses on migrating stored procedures to modern repository patterns in modern languages (C#, Java, Node and Python), our vision extends to modernizing all types of legacy systems—from monolithic applications to outdated frontend frameworks, from proprietary middleware to obsolete integration layers. Our approach combines advanced language models with specialized engineering frameworks to dramatically accelerate modernization while ensuring complete functional reliability. For example, we've transformed a financial services client's critical communications system from complex stored procedures to a modern API-based architecture, reducing what would typically be months of manual work to weeks while achieving 100% behavioral parity. Our Team You'll join our modernization accelerator team, that is part of our broader global digital consulting practice. The digital consulting practice operates as a fully remote, highly collaborative group of specialists spread between London, New York, Rio de Janeiro, Chicago, Sarajevo, and Belgrade. Modernization accelerator team works in close technical partnership with other focused groups building complementary agentic solutions, sharing insights, components, and approaches that strengthen our collective innovation capabilities. After demonstrating significant traction with our initial accelerators, we're now scaling the team to expand our impact. Role Overview As our AI Modernization Architect, you'll design the intelligence frameworks that power our transformation platform. Rather than implementing specific migrations, you'll create systems that can identify patterns across diverse legacy technologies and develop the orchestration components that sequence modernization steps (analysis → extraction → implementation → verification). Our current solution uses AI to categorize stored procedures based on their structure, identify SQL patterns, and map these to equivalent modern implementations. You'll expand this approach to other legacy technologies, designing frameworks that enable AI to understand the intent behind various legacy systems and generate appropriate modern equivalents. Your work will establish the blueprint for how our AI-powered modernization applies across the enterprise technology landscape.
