Your Role:

At Kyndryl, our Security Consultants are game changers, pushing boundaries to transform the way our customers do business. We are seeking a dynamic and skilled professional to take on the challenge of protecting organizations from evolving threats while integrating advanced automation, AI, and machine learning technologies into Security Operations Centers (SOCs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Consulting & Operations: Collaborate with clients to assess security postures, design and implement security controls, and develop risk management strategies.
• Automation & AI Integration: Design and deploy automated workflows and AI/ML-driven solutions to enhance SOC efficiency, reduce manual interventions, and improve threat detection.
• Security Architecture & Orchestration: Integrate advanced security tools and technologies, ensuring seamless coordination between different security systems.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Conduct thorough security assessments, audits, and risk evaluations in alignment with industry standards (e.g., NIST, RMF, Critical Security Controls).
• Collaboration & Innovation: Work alongside cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions and enhance cyber resilience.
• Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices to refine security operations and recommend improvements.
• SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response): Design, build, and deploy SOAR playbooks using platforms such as Palo Alto XSOAR, Splunk Phantom or Microsoft Sentinel. Integrate diverse security tools (SIEMs, EDRs, firewalls, threat intel platforms) into SOAR platforms. Customize automation workflows to align with incident response plans, threat hunting strategies, and compliance frameworks. Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for SOC and IR teams.
• Machine Learning (ML): Identify use cases for ML within security operations (e.g., anomaly detection, user behavior analytics, phishing detection). Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build and fine-tune models using security-related datasets (logs, telemetry, alerts).       Evaluate and implement ML-based security solutions and integrate them with existing platforms. Monitor model performance and adjust algorithms to reduce false positives/negatives.
• Generative AI (Gen AI): Leverage Gen AI models (e.g., LLMs like GPT, open-source models) for tasks such as:
  • Automated report generation
  • Triage of security alerts
  • Threat intel summarization
  • ChatOps and virtual analyst assistants
• •              Fine-tune LLMs for security-specific domains using internal data (with proper privacy/safety guardrails).
• •              Evaluate security risks and ethical implications of Gen AI in enterprise environments.

Who You Are:

You are a highly skilled cybersecurity professional with a passion for protecting digital assets and a strong background in security automation, orchestration, and risk management. Your ability to develop and implement innovative security strategies makes you a trusted advisor to clients.

Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years in information security consulting and implementation.
• Extensive experience in security automation, orchestration, and incident response.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
• Hands-on expertise with security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, access controls, encryption technologies, and SIEM/SOAR solutions.
• Experience managing risks related to information security, including secure infrastructure and data protection.
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in cybersecurity.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Advanced cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
• Familiarity with cloud security, Zero Trust, and emerging technologies such as IoT and AI.
• Experience with SOC operations, security assessments, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong leadership and project management abilities.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex security and AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Highly analytical, creative, and detail oriented.
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for innovation and solving problems.
