WHO
we’re looking for:
We are
looking for a Senior Web AI Research Engineer who will be responsible for helping the Web Platform team define and develop Web AI Agents that can perform complex, multi-step autonomous tasks. The Web Platform Team is a group of Software Engineers researching and evolving the Web Platform and Web Standards and novel ways to use web content.
Role
and Responsibilities:
Create quick prototypes and proof-of-concepts.
Contribute to the research activities of our team.
Generate creative solutions (patents) and design, develop, and evaluate AI/ML based solutions for services.
Required Experience and Education:
2-5 years of industry experience preferred.
Master's degree required (PhD preferred) in Computer Science or a relevant field.
Practical experience with web scraping and AI-Agent projects, preferably with a focus on natural language processing, accessibility and interaction on the web.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and DOM is necessary for navigating and extracting data from web pages.
Familiarity with web scraping frameworks like Puppeteer or similar frameworks.
On device AI model optimization and quantization.
Experience in Reinforcement Learning is a plus.
Experience with integrating large language models (LLM), fine-tuning on LLM/VLLM, self-hosting LLMs and on-device (edge) LLM is a plus.
ML model deployment and inferencing in Android OS.
Demonstrated market understanding of Web AI agents with Gemini 2.0, Anthropic Computer Use or OpenAI Operator.
Necessary Skills and Attributes:

Detail-oriented with strong
organization skills.
Ability to work in a
fast-paced environment.
Limited supervision
and the exercise of discretion.
First or co-authored publications on AI-Agent at leading workshops or conferences.

periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing
high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and
moderate hand/finger dexterity.
Performs
work under time schedules and stress which are normally
periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines,
intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project
management deadlines. May require working additional time
beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
