What we’re looking for

SurveyMonkey is looking for an exceptional and passionate Senior Technical Program Manager with experience working in both large and small companies in a fast-paced environment.  You’ll have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with teams including Product, Engineering, Design, and Customer Support.  You have excellent communication skills and experience in working with executive leadership teams.   We're looking for somebody who has a passion for processes and data. Our team starts every day asking “how can we help?”. We’re looking for a teammate to help us support the R&D organization in developing and maturing our operational and project management processes.

What you’ll be working on

  • You’re an expert with data hygiene and can define and develop metrics for project health using our standard reporting tools (JQL, Google Sheets, etc.) 
  • You lead large, complex, cross-functional projects, including coordination of cross-functional activities and communications.
  • You utilize project management tools (Jira, Confluence) to plan, track, and communicate project status.
  • You provide advanced program management for multiple Product Workstreams.
  • You author, review, and approve project requirements, reporting, and other program artifacts for medium-sized projects and initiatives.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • You have 8+ years of technical project management experience of large scale cross-functional programs for SaaS based products with at least 5 years hands on experience shipping and launching new products or services.
  • You have experience facilitating planning and coordination efforts across Engineering, Product, and Design teams to support schedules and planning, tracking, and communicating product delivery expectations. 
  • You are a natural strategic problem-solver. You are comfortable with ambiguity, can quickly move through complexity and bring structure to chaos and guide others through change.
  • You have advanced understanding of product and software development lifecycles with ability to adjust using agile methodologies.
  • You have exceptional skill in the use of Jira and related metrics and reporting.

SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution in problem-solving and decision-making. As such, you will be required to work from a SurveyMonkey office up to 1 day every other week.
