Overview

• Design, develop, and implement Oracle APEX applications and FAW solutions based on client requirements
• Utilize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architecture to create scalable and secure applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements for APEX and FAW projects
• Ensure adherence to Oracle APEX security best practices and implement robust security measures
• Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle APEX applications and other systems
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL code for APEX applications and reports
• Design and implement data models, including tables, views, and stored procedures
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers on the team
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality across APEX and FAW projects
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle APEX, FAW, and OCI technologies and best practices

Responsibilities

Application Development and Maintenance

• Design and develop APEX applications and FAW solutions daily
• Perform regular maintenance and updates on existing applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly

Quality Assurance and Best Practices

• Implement and enforce coding standards and best practices for APEX and FAW development6
• Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary security measures8
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Performance Optimization

• Monitor and optimize application performance on a regular basis
• Implement efficient database queries and PL/SQL code
• Conduct regular performance testing and tuning activities

Client Support and Consultation

• Provide expert-level support to clients on APEX and FAW-related matters
• Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss project progress and requirements
• Offer strategic advice on leveraging Oracle PaaS solutions for business objectives

Continuous Learning and Innovation

• Stay updated on the latest APEX features, FAW developments, and OCI offerings
• Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve development processes
• Contribute to the development of best practices and frameworks for the team

Team Collaboration and Leadership

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to align development initiatives with business goals
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of APEX and FAW solutions

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of APEX applications and FAW solutions
• Develop and update technical specifications and user guides
• Contribute to the team's knowledge base with best practices and lessons learned

Project Management

• Estimate project timelines and resource requirements for APEX and FAW projects
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively

Qualifications

• Extensive experience Oracle APEX development and FAW
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and PaaS offerings
• Experience with Oracle Database and performance tuning
• Familiarity with RESTful web services and API integration
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Oracle certifications related to APEX, PaaS, and OCI (preferred)
