Overview

  • Lead implementations of Oracle Cloud SCM modules, including Inventory, BOM, WIP, Quality, and Purchasing.
  • Oversee Oracle Cloud Procurement implementations, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of client business processes to understand their supply chain and procurement needs.
  • Design and propose effective solutions using Oracle Cloud SCM and Procurement modules.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure successful implementation of Oracle Cloud solutions.
  • Provide expert-level support and consultation to clients on Oracle SCM and Procurement matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle Cloud solutions with other business applications.
  • Stay updated on the latest Oracle Fusion features and best practices
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on Oracle Fusion implementations

Responsibilities

Implementation and Configuration

  • Lead the implementation of Oracle Cloud SCM and Procurement modules
  • Configure and customize applications to align with client requirements
  • Develop functional designs and solution architectures

Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering

  • Conduct thorough analysis of client business processes
  • Gather and document business requirements
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications

Quality Assurance and Testing

  • Develop and execute test plans for Oracle Cloud implementations
  • Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing
  • Resolve issues identified during testing phases

Client Support and Consultation

  • Provide expert-level support to clients on Oracle SCM and Procurement
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss project progress
  • Offer strategic advice on leveraging Oracle SaaS solutions for supply chain optimization

Performance Optimization

  • Monitor and optimize application performance
  • Implement efficient configurations and customizations
  • Conduct regular performance testing and tuning activities

Training and Knowledge Transfer

  • Provide end-user training on Oracle SCM and Procurement modules
  • Develop training materials and user guides
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with client teams

Project Management

  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables
  • Identify and mitigate project risks
  • Ensure project deliverables meet Oracle Application Implementation standards

Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  • Stay updated on Oracle Cloud features and industry trends
  • Propose and implement process improvements
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and methodologies

Supplier Management

  • Assist in setting up and managing supplier profiles and qualifications
  • Support the implementation of supplier portals and self-service capabilities
  • Guide clients in optimizing supplier relationships and performance

Patch Management and System Maintenance

  • Handle Oracle quarterly patch releases for Oracle Cloud ERP
  • Coordinate with Oracle support for Service Request (SR) management
  • Ensure system stability and functionality after updates

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Functional Consultant for Oracle SCM Cloud Inventory, BOM, WIP, Quality, and Purchasing Implementation across implementation and support
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end business processes in Cloud Supply Chain modules
  • Expertise in Oracle Cloud Procurement modules, including BOM, WIP, PO, and Inventory
  • Oracle Fusion certifications (preferred)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
