Job Description

DUTIES:

  • Work with our partners across organization to create scalable and production-grade Al/ML products.
  • Work with scrum team of data scientists, business analysts, data engineers, and subject matter experts to design and create machine learning models and retraining systems.
  • Work with team to put model prototype in production by making scalable and efficient models (parallelizing, using appropriate libraries, adding basic efficiencies from the code/data/architecture etc.).
  • Create model governance architecture for retention (upon drift).
  • Create architecture/framework for performance evaluation and feedback loop.
  • Select analytical techniques and model methods best to solve business problems. Enable delivery of data-analytics projects and understand complexity/dependencies between multiple teams and platforms.
  • Communicate intensively with other platform/competencies to comprehend new trends and methodologies within company ecosystem.
  • Understand customer/stakeholders business needs/priorities and help build solutions that support our business goals.
  • Establish and manage close relationship with customers/stakeholders.
  • Oversee DS market development to explore new ways of delivering analytics solutions to increase tvalue/contribution.
  • Build "community of practice” leveraging experience from delivering complex analytics projects.
  • Develop production-grade models and deliver solutions with high quality standards, timeliness, compliance and excellent user experience.
  • Contribute to innovative experiments, specifically to idea generation, idea incubation and/or experimentation, identifying tangible and measurable criteria. Up to 25% domestic/international travel required.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field and 2 years of experience in the position offered or related.
  • Must have 2 years of experience with all of the following: applied Machine Learning (ML) in cloud environment such as AWS; writing production-grade ML code; coding Python, R, Scala, Java or any other OOP language; ETL tools for data flow management and pre-processing using SQL or shell scripting; utilizing TensorFlow or Torch libraries; working with software intelligence platform such as SageMaker, Databricks, or MLfiowSpark; working within distributed computing environment; using cloud-based SQL & noSQL databases (Redshift, S3, BQ, Athena, and Mongo) to access and analyze data; project management and data analytics project delivery; and translating business processes into user stories and detailed business requirements.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
