3MD Inc. dba Denali Advanced Integration in Redmond, Washington seeks a qualified full-time Senior Solutions Architect to design and implement computer and information networks developing technology sales opportunities with our global clients, bringing Denali solutions to market, and providing technical expertise in IT infrastructure technologies.   This role specifically focuses on expanding our expertise with Juniper Networks technology and bringing IoT security capabilities to our Industrial Automation practice. This senior role will lead projects, understand requirements, define appropriate solutions, and provide estimates for the usage of hours and cost of intended solutions.   This role works with different teams to ensure that the solution balances both appropriate expectations and quality execution.  The ability to create supported documentation and diagrams is required as part of the project lifecycle.  Specific day-to-day Senior Solutions Architect responsibilities include:   

• Define customer business problems in a technical context and define solution options, architectures and bill of materials. Articulate the benefits of solutions, research and demonstrate ROI.  Develop proof of concept, including leveraging replicable architectures and researching customized solutions. Create accurate detailed diagrams and design documents intended for proposed solution – including firewalls, ports, server types, applications, and requirements.  
• Accurately prioritize against multiple projects.  Lead and participate in project teams. Provide status reports on project – progress and outstanding issues. Drive Project reporting and Status from Architects and Engineers. Drive delivery of assigned tasks on schedule.
• Critically review work and other team members.  Develop best practice definitions.  Use and promote the use of best practices, project management and tools to team(s).
• Champion standards and consistent practices in all Solution categories.  Provide support for all subtasks in at least 4 Solution categories.  Drive design and development for major Solution components. 
• Partner with sales to prospect for new business.

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field, or foreign degree equivalent; and 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in each of the following: combined experience in architecture and operations; combined experience in enterprise network engineering and cyber security; and partnering closely with vendors of IT infrastructure such as Juniper Networks, Cisco Systems, or other major manufacturers.  Experience may be gained concurrently.  JNCIE certification required.  Must demonstrate excellent communications skills.  Background checks required.  

Position located at 3MD Inc. dba Denali Advanced Integration, 17735 NE 65th Street, Suite 130, Redmond, WA 98052.  Telecommuting available 2 to 3 times a week.  Salary $267,750 per year.
