Must haveDevelopment and refinement of algorithms for 3D multiple object tracking - including motion models, sensor models and detection mappingEvaluation and selection of suitable tracking algorithms to reliably track multiple UAVs simultaneouslyDevelopment of a modular and extensible framework for sensor fusion, including hardware integrationWorking closely with the computer vision and acoustics teams to effectively utilize their detections in trackingMonitoring current scientific developments in the field of multi-object tracking and evaluating them for practical applicationEnsuring the consistently high quality of the entire tracking and detection pipeline
Your profile
Must have:Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics or a comparable fieldRelevant experience with C++, ideally in complex systemsExperience with math/optimization frameworks such as Eigen, Ceres or GTSAMKnowledge of ROS or ROS2Experience with OpenCV or comparable image processingStructured, clean programming and focus on software qualityNice to have: Experience with RustExperience with sensor fusion, tracking or SLAMExperience with real-time or embedded systemsMeta:Intrinsic motivation and willingness to go the extra mile, as well as attention to detailCreativity that thinks outside the box as well as conceptual and systematic design thinking and disciplined executionServant leadership that puts the success of the team above their egoHighest moral standards and work ethicWe value extracurricular responsibilities and accomplishments on your resumeFluent in English or GermanCitizenship of a NATO member state or close ally is a mustSuccessful applicants will be required to obtain a security clearance
