About the Role:We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our cloud services team. You will play a critical role in working with our world-class cross-functional team to help develop and build the world’s most advanced robotic systems for the world’s biggest robotics opportunity!
Responsibilities:
Write and maintain high quality code which is production ready
Be available for production support
Measure and debug performance bottlenecks for a suite of products
Be able to ship a feature end to end: frontend, backend, CI, infrastructure
Be a mentor for junior engineers
Be able to lead larger initiatives, delegate development tasks to others, and influence high quality technical execution
Generate a technical roadmap for improving scalability, performance, observability, testability, etc.
Perform code reviews and uphold high bar for best practices
Suggest changes to coding standards style guide
Be able to challenge product requirements and drive consensus to improved solutions
Qualifications:
Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
4+ years of industry experience
Solid understanding of cloud security practices
Experience building full stack cloud applications (both frontend and backend)
Experience with REST, SQL, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, message brokering, and Docker
Willing to work extended hours and weekends if needed
