Develop secure, reliable and maintainable code

As a Software Development Engineer in Test. Senior, you will develop software that runs one of the largest distributed-systems in the world. You will play a key role in our growth strategy. You'll be creating innovative solutions for network challenges increasing internet traffic, making it faster, reliable and secure.

As a Software Development Engineer in Test Senior , you will be responsible for:

• Creating, maintaining and executing Test strategy for complex distributed systems
• Collaborating with cross-functional team members within and across business units to leverage internal product knowledge and expertise
• Being the subject matter and team expert, leading and mentoring others to optimize their productivity
• Embracing a "Service always available & DevOps" mindset through solid design principles, resilient software, and operational awareness
• Working with internal teams to troubleshoot complex problems in our network for our customers
• Demostrating a fine balance between Time-to-Market, Execution, Innovation and Customer success

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 4+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor's / Masters's degree in CS or equivalent
• Have expertise in testing Networking & Security products with exposure to Unix/Linux environment
• Have experience in designing test strategy, carrying out comprehensive System Testing of complex distributed systems
• Be well versed in how the Internet works, knowledge about network protocols like TCP/UDP, TLS/DTLS, HTTP etc.
• Demonstrate a keen interest in learning new technologies. Adept on Cloud deployments & optics
• Having automation experience in Python/Java/any OOP language  is a big plus
• Have the ability to troubleshoot complex problems through productive collaboration with other functional groups
