As an experienced consulting specialist seller this role will give you the opportunity to accelerate your career growth, growing your solution area expertise, developing leads, qualification of strategic opportunities and ownership through to successful deal closure, leveraging cutting edge solutions for customers that grow cloud consumption.

Responsibilities

The Industry Solutions Consulting Solution Area Specialist (CSAS) for Data & AI is responsible for:

  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of customer and partner needs, and showcasing how our solutions can drive meaningful business outcomes
  • Providing insightful and impactful points of view (POV) on how Industry Solutions (IS) can accelerate consumption, aligning these insights with account planning cycles
  • Collaborating seamlessly with the wider account team to build and strengthen relationships across Microsoft teams, driving cloud consumption through Industry Solutions projects and programs
  • Continuously enhancing your sales expertise and industry knowledge to better support customers and the broader Microsoft team, while also investing in your personal development
  • Ensuring deal excellence by adhering to Microsoft processes and methodologies, maintaining pipeline hygiene, logging and managing all opportunities (revenue and consumption) for Industry Solutions, and continuously qualifying opportunities through to the Opportunity Review Board (ORB) submissions and close plan ownership

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration

OR related field AND 7+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience

 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive technology-related sales or account management experience
  • Considerable years of solution or services sales experience
  • Experience selling Data & AI based services or soutions
  • Must speak fluent Dutch
