Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops, modifies and maintains computer application software integrated across multiple platforms and architectures.
  • Analyzes existing business requirements to ascertain feasibility, implementation requirements, and performance.
  • Provides technical guidance and direction in the development and production turnover of application software solutions.
  • Provides technical guidance and direction in the development and production turnover of application software solutions.
  • Leads and directs the architecture and design concepts for application software development.
  • Plans and coordinates programming projects within a particular work group.
  • Acts as a senior programming consultant in advanced computer technology and architecture.
  • Assists and advises subordinate personnel in the resolution of highly technical and complex problems.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree and five years of applications software development experience OR seven years of applications software development experience.
  • Must be proficient in at least three computer languages and one development workbench suite currently used in production.
  • Experience as a supervisor or team leader is required.
