Are you interested in AI governance and regulation, and would like to do research and development (R&D) on how AI policy, legislation and global regulatory trends are shaping AI assurance?
As a Senior researcher in AI governance and regulations, you will be part of DIGIT’s effort to conduct interdisciplinary R&D on how AI and assurance is being shaped today. Currently, we are working on digital transformation and AI assurance topics from technology, business value and user perspectives.
Your primary responsibility will be to focus on the governance and regulatory aspects of AI, and do R&D on the evolving AI governance, standards and regulatory landscape. You will also be responsible for collaborating with technology-first R&D teams, and co-creating and sharing actionable insights internally in DNV.
As a Senior researcher in AI governance, standards and regulations, your main responsibilities include:
Conduct in-depth research on AI policy, legislation, standardization and global regulatory trends
Monitor and summarize developments from major standards bodies, government agencies, international agencies, and academic forums
Analyze and distill implications of the national, regional, and global trends for AI assurance
Collaborate with technologists and engineers in joint R&D activities to translate research into novel AI assurance frameworks
Identify funding opportunities and collaborate with external academic and commercial partners to form consortia and submit applications
Take the role of PM for internal and externally funded R&D projects on the topics
Communicate through briefs, position papers, presentations, and thought-leadership articles for internal and external audiences
