Senior Radar ML Engineer (f/m/d)

Your tasks:

• Good perception is essential to extract the necessary information about the environment for future autonomous vehicles. We are looking for a passionate engineer with experience in machine learning or radar engineering. In this position, you will apply the latest radar and AI/ML technologies to Aptiv's latest radar sensor generations to develop competitive, market-leading perception solutions.

• Do you love deep learning or want to learn it? Do you understand the core idea behind concepts and can transfer these concepts to new areas? Do you want to do more than just download a new network? Do you have the ability and understanding to combine architecture and algorithmic elements to create new but competitive solutions according to requirements? Hands-on? Do you have good communication and self-organization skills?

Your background:

• Master or PhD in science, technology, physics, engineering and mathematics or a related field
• Excellent analytical skills and a good mathematical background with deep mathematical understanding
• Good programming skills and experience in programming with a modern programming language, such as C/C++, Cuda, Python or R
• Experience with modern radar signal processing methods or with machine learning Bonus

• Experience in developing software in a team.
• Experience with deep learning toolkits such as Theano, Pytorch, Tensor Flow, etc.
• Experience in the field of real-time and embedded systems
• Experience in the field of autonomous driving or ADAS
• Proven publications at relevant conferences (CVPR, NIPS, ICCV, ICRA, Fusion, ...) demonstrating the ability to develop leading competitive solutions.
• German language skills
