The AI Core at WTW is dedicated to enabling AI adoption, supporting AI-related initiatives, and fostering collaboration across teams. It serves as a central hub for coordinating AI activities globally, integrating strategic support, responsible AI governance, communication, innovation, and best practices along with value and knowledge management.

The AI Core Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing projects within the WTW AI Core. This role involves coordinating various activities, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining effective communication among stakeholders while supporting colleagues in their AI adoption journey.

The ideal candidate for the AI Core Project Manager role should possess a high degree of versatility and be comfortable wearing multiple hats. This role demands a proactive and hands-on approach, where the individual is not only adept at strategic planning and coordination but also willing to dive into the details and tackle challenges head-on. The ability to seamlessly transition between different tasks and responsibilities, while maintaining a focus on achieving project goals, is essential for success in this dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The Role:

  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of a variety of AI Core projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and timelines.
  • Driving Initiatives to Completion: Ensure timely delivery of AI Core projects and initiatives, including proof of concepts, training, compliance, or strategic initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand requirements, their strategies, goals, processes, and problems, and document them in an organized and formal manner.
  • Activity Coordination: Manage AI Core activities, including answering support questions, handling RFPs, Hackathons, and managing follow-ups related to the AI Core.
  • Communication: Project manage AI Core-owned communications, assist in gathering metrics, and develop dashboards.
  • Automation: Assist in managing tools and automations leveraged within AI Core.
  • Community Leadership: Assist with the AI Community of Interest, including periodic community calls and Teams channel engagement/Q&A.

The Requirement:

  • 10-14 years of experience as a Technology Project or Program Manager for programs is essential, with proven capabilities in managing diverse stakeholders across multiple projects in a global environment.
  • BS/BA degree in a relevant Business or Information Technology area; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to form alliances, collaborate with internal clients, and fulfill business needs.
  • Working knowledge of one or more project management methodologies or practices, including a strong understanding of the Agile methodology.
  • Ability to understand stakeholder needs, their strategies, goals, processes, and problems, and document them in an organized and formal manner, prioritizing feedback.
  • Strong analytical skills to track and report on project metrics and status
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot and some experience with AI productivity tools such as Copilot Studio and Power Automate (AI Builder).

BS/BA degree in a relevant Business or Information Technology area; a Master's degree is a plus.
