Position Overview

At Everstream, we are passionate about the success of our customers. We’re looking for a strategic, results-driven professional to lead strategic projects supporting customer growth, retention and loyalty. This position will report to the Manager Professional Services.

As a Project Manager you will manages all aspects of complex, cross-functional projects in a matrixed organization for customers ranging from Fortune 100 to mid-size organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Determines personnel and resource requirements to complete projects and negotiates availability of resources, as needed.
  • Plans, organizes, schedules, controls, and monitors assigned projects to ensure timely completion, cost effectiveness, and functionality are met.
  • Coordinates the gathering and analysis of pertinent information re user requirements, workflow, etc., and the development of solutions, including scope and objectives.
  • Coordinates enhancement of existing products/systems and/or implementation of new products/systems with appropriate project team.
  • Identifies and resolves time, resource, and priority conflicts among projects. Alerts management sponsor about conflicts requiring resolution at higher levels.
  • Conducts ongoing assessments of projects to ensure that project plans continue to meet business needs.
  • Provides status reports as required. Ensures that stakeholders are kept informed of the status, risks, and issues surrounding their projects.
  • Manages project teams in a matrixed organization by:
    • Allocating and coordinating the work, establishing priorities, and guiding the team as required.
    • Ensuring project management standards and best practices are followed, balancing the competing needs for process and standards with responsiveness and flexibility.
    • Preparing and monitoring the budget for staff and project activities.
    • Ensuring that prescribed policies, procedures, and controls are followed.
  • Works with users, support units, and development sections in developing, planning, scheduling, and implementing new systems, software, services, products and applications.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Who you are

  • 6+ years of B2B SaaS Professional Services experience, preferably managing implementation of supply chain, procurement, or transportation solutions
  • Demonstrated exceptional project management skills. Strong knowledge of scheduling and organizing projects and use of Project Management software applications, such as Smartsheet, MS Project and equivalent.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and conflict resolution techniques, recognizing which issues should be escalated to higher levels for resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressures.
  • Strong knowledge of software implementation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills both with customers and within an organization
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of budgeting analysis and cost control practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide timely and effective support to users and first line support staff on highly complex problems involving multiple systems.
  • Demonstrated excellent listening and analytical skills to understand concerns and risks identified by customer.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment in a startup culture, demonstrated sense of ownership and initiative to solve problems and drive for completion.
  • Strong customer service skills and excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Bachelor’s degree with coursework in information systems, business, data analytics, supply chain, or equivalent experience is required. Formal training in project management strongly preferred.
