Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :
1.       Presales & Technical Solutioning:

o   Partner with sales team to identify and qualify new business opportunities.

o   Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective customers to understand their challenges and requirements.

o   Develop and present compelling technical solutions that leverage Industrial AI and Process Twin technologies to address customer needs.

o   Create detailed solution architectures, including data pipelines, AI models, and deployment strategies.

o   Build and deliver customized product demonstrations and POC implementations.

o   Collaborate on the creation of proposals, SOWs, and other sales-related documentation.

2.       Program Planning & Initiation:

o   Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

o   Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

o   Establish project governance and communication protocols.

o   Manage the transition from pre-sales to project delivery, ensuring a smooth handover of knowledge and context.

3.       Project Execution & Monitoring:

o   Manage project execution according to the project plan, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.

o   Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and identify potential risks or issues.

o   Implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and resolve issues promptly.

o   Coordinate and manage cross-functional project teams, including data scientists, engineers, and consultants.

o   Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.

4.       Stakeholder Management & Communication:

o   Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and internal teams.

o   Provide project status updates, highlight key achievements, and escalate issues if reqd.

o   Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.

o   Facilitate project meetings and workshops to drive collaboration and decision-making.

5.       Business Development & Growth Strategy:

o   Contribute to the development of the overall business strategy for the Industrial AI and Process Twin solutions portfolio.

o   Identify opportunities for expanding the product offering and penetrating new markets.

o   Build and maintain relationships with key industry influencers and partners.

o   Work with marketing to create compelling case studies, thought leadership content, and other marketing materials.

6.       Risk Management & Issue Resolution:

o   Identify and assess potential project risks and develop mitigation plans.

o   Proactively manage project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.

o   Implement contingency plans to minimize the impact of unforeseen events.

o   Track and document project risks, issues, and resolutions.

7.       Quality Assurance & Customer Satisfaction:

o   Ensure the quality of project deliverables through rigorous testing and validation.

o   Gather customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.

o   Strive to exceed customer expectations and ensure project success.

o   Manage project closure activities, including final documentation, knowledge transfer, and lessons learned.

8.       Resource Management:

o   Work with functional managers to allocate resources to projects effectively.

o   Manage project budgets and track expenses.

o   Ensure that project resources have the necessary skills and tools to perform their tasks.

o   Manage vendor relationships as needed.

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical) or a related technical field. MBA and/or PMP certification is highly preferred.

Experience :

  • 10-15 years of industry experience, in multiple roles across program management, technical presales, or consulting, with a focus on delivering complex technical projects.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects in the Industrial AI, Digital Transformation, or related fields.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and present technical solutions to diverse audiences.

Mandatory/requires Skills :

  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and their applications in industrial settings.

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).

  • Exposure to industrial processes and operations within at least one of the following industries: Manufacturing, Steel, Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals.
