Position Overview:

PATH India is seeking a highly motivated and analytically driven professional to join our dynamic Digital Health team as a Senior Program Associate. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing portfolio of impactful work in the digital health space, particularly focusing on the intersection of AI and public health within our South Asia Hub (India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar). The selected candidate will work closely with the Emerging Tech team on AI-driven health solutions, supporting the execution of India’s digital health mission and other related initiatives.

About the Role:
The Senior Program Associate will play a pivotal role in advancing PATH India’s digital health initiatives, focusing on leveraging AI to address public health challenges in the South Asia region. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong technical background and a passion for applying AI to improve public health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Planning and Management:

  • Collaborate with the Emerging Tech team on AI-related public health projects, ensuring alignment with PATH’s strategic goals.

  • Provide technical assistance during program/project development and implementation, with a focus on AI for health solutions.

  • Conduct literature reviews and create knowledge products, including concept notes, reports, and disseminate PATH’s work on various platforms.

  • Execute program activities, track progress, and ensure timely completion of project milestones.

  • Coordinate and participate in state-level planning and review meetings, ensuring proper implementation of AI interventions and related program activities.

  • Facilitate seamless coordination between state program teams, stakeholders, and other program verticals.

  • Travel as needed for program implementation and stakeholder engagement.

  • Support training and capacity-building activities for relevant stakeholders as required by the program.

  • Document program activities, field observations, and create presentations for updates and meetings.

  • Perform any other need-based tasks as requested by the team.

Education and Required Skills:

  • Educational Background:

    • BTech strongly preferred.

    • Master’s degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Management, or a relevant field from a reputable institution is an added advantage.

  • Experience:

    • 3-4 years of professional experience across digital, consulting, public sector, or development sector.

    • Relevant experience in the Digital Health domain, particularly in AI for health solutions, is highly desirable.

    • Proven experience in project management, including partner engagement and stakeholder coordination.

    • Demonstrated experience in research, documentation, and knowledge dissemination.

  • Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with senior staff, colleagues, donors, partner organizations, and stakeholders at all levels.

    • Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines, and a focus on quality.

    • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.

    • Proficient in facilitation, team building, and coordination.

    • Highly detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.

    • Excellent command of MS Office applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

    • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other Indian languages is an advantage.

    • Proven effectiveness in working both independently and in a team-based structure.
