Job Summary

NetApp is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the cloud storage product management team, who has successfully managed AI/ML projects. He/she has a track record of working in highly effective product management and data science teams and working collaboratively with engineering. 
Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, he/she will work closely with the company Product leadership teams, sales, TME, marketing, and support teams to execute a compelling product strategy driven by data.
The ideal candidate for this role has a background in using data to model and drive product decisions, and is comfortable gathering, crunching, and analyzing large amounts of customer and survey data to inform product strategy and roadmap. Most importantly, the candidate should comfortable with working with vast amounts of data and build models to help uncover insights that helps making critical product decisions

Job Requirements

•    Help define product feature adoption metrics, KPIs, and OKRs.
•    Gather, collect, crunch, and analyze customer data to determine product feature uptake/adoption/non-adoption reasons.
•    Build and conduct customer and partner surveys to inform core business initiatives.
•    Build data models to help guide decision making for product roadmap features and pricing strategy.
•    Build models to explain customer churn.
•    Work with product teams to bring meaningful insights and  in weekly and monthly business reviews.
•    Provide insights to the business through analytics and market research in collaboration with Product and Technical Marketing.
•    Inspirational leader; can motivate, inspire, and motivate teams around a product vision.
•    Strong analytical and logical skills

Desired skills
•    8 - 10 years in data science or product management.
•    Expert level Excel skill is expected.
•    Statistical and AI/ML data modeling skills are mandatory.
•     A/B testing & experimentation
•    Familiarity with data tools like Tableau. 
 

Education

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $185000 - $260000 and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
