Responsibilities:

  • Continuously track and analyze emerging technical trends and developments in both industry and academia. Formulate strategic technical plans for the next 2-5 years based on comprehensive insights.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to comprehend their business needs thoroughly. Translate these requirements into innovative and effective technology solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Offer high-quality solution designs, particularly in the integration of big data and AI projects. Ensure that the proposed solutions are not only technically robust but also aligned with overarching business goals.
  • Clearly define the scope of work and accurately estimate the required resources and time commitments. This includes meticulous planning to ensure project success and timely delivery.
  • Play a pivotal role in supporting and guiding the research team. Uphold standards for quality and timeliness, ensuring that deliverables meet or exceed expectations.

Requirements

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, providing a strong academic foundation for the role.
  • Bring a wealth of over 10 years of hands-on experience in the development and architecture of big data and AI solutions, demonstrating seasoned expertise.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in a spectrum of big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase, MongoDB, and others. Possesses expert-level knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, large language models, and various AI domains.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a research team of more than 10 individuals, showcasing strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or others, ensuring versatility in addressing diverse technical challenges.
  • Possess a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns, underpinning the ability to create robust and efficient solutions.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, facilitating effective collaboration and successful project outcomes.
  • Knowledge of vector database development or vector index is an asset.
