We are looking for a Senior People Data Scientist (All genders) to join the Global People Analytics team on our journey to always aim higher and deliver better automated solutions.
Your mission:
Own the entire analysis cycle, from gathering the business requirements, framing the business question, building hypotheses, to running the analysis, revealing and presenting insights and recommending meaningful actions to senior Heroes
Translate everyday business problems into hypothesis / research questions which can be measured
Lead specific analytical projects as required in support of the overall People Analytics and P&C team goals and objectives
Steer and influence the team’s direction and design KPIs and OKRs
Co-own the People data domain and be the point of contact for this part of DH's data
Work closely with your manager and the global people analytics community at DH to maintain a healthy pipeline of People Analytics initiatives
Select appropriate methodologies / techniques to analyze data and extract insight for key stakeholders in an efficient and secure way
Collaborate with analysts and data scientist in other teams to learn new methodologies and share best practices
Play a critical role to upskill the analytics capabilities of the P&C at scale and ensure that all Heroes are able to avoid common stats pitfalls and can correctly interpret People data from our self-serve dashboards and people data platforms
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices
Bachelor's or Master’s degree (strongly preferred) in Economics, Statistics, Data Science or other technical fields
Background working in similar data-driven roles and 5+ years of experience in People analytics
Proven, direct experience in the use of data and analytical tools (such as Python, R) to develop models and algorithms
Able to identify the most appropriate statistical technique, supervised and / or unsupervised machine learning algorithm to answer a given business question
Advanced understanding of statistics and basic principles of data analysis
Great storyteller and can clearly present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
Have worked in cross functional teams and can manage senior stakeholders
Self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously
