Our IT Operations team is responsible for operational support of the underpinning Corporate IT infrastructure. We support different Akamai Business Functions including HRIS, Financial & Accounting applications and Productivity & Development applications. We ensure efficient functioning and high availability of everything that forms the landscape of Corporate IT infrastructure.

You will maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data network infrastructure. You will be delivering IT Support Services effectively and ensuring smooth network operations across the global network.

As a Network Administrator Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Providing on-going administration and support of Corporate Network Infrastructure (Cisco/Juniper/Aruba/F5/Pulse Secure).
• Troubleshooting wired and wireless Ethernet networking technologies (including VLANs, Dot1x, Spanning Tree, Port Channeling, 802.11abgn, etc.).
• Maintaining proactive and timely communication with customers via multiple mediums (tickets, calls, walk-ups, IM).
• Ensuring effective, pro-active monitoring and configuration/change management is maintained for all systems and networks.
• Developing tools and SOPs to improve team's efficiency and productivity.
• Acting as the technical point of contact while providing weekend support on rotating on-call schedule

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have Bachelor degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of professional related experience
• Have experience in maintaining complex and
  large networks and Data centers.
• Have background in wired and wireless technologies (including VLANs, Dot1x, Spanning Tree, Port
  Channeling, 802.11abgn, etc.)
• Demonstrate proficiency with routing protocols
  and related technologies - OSPF,BGP.
• Possess understanding of end-to-end data flows
  and traffic patterns (Wireshark).
• Be CCNP / JNCIP certified
