The Impact: The FIG Data Engineering team will be responsible for implemen8ng & maintaining services and/or tools to support exis8ng feed systems which allows users to consume FIG datasets and make FIG data available to a data fabric for wider consump8on and processing within the company.

What should you bring to the table:

• Experience with object-oriented/object func8on scrip8ng languages: Python, C#, Scala, etc.
• Experience in maintaining and developing soTware in produc8on u8lizing cloud- based tooling (GCP, Docker & Kubernetes, Okta)
• Experience in BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks will be a big plus.

• BS in Computer Science or Engineering with at least 4-5 years of professional soTware work experience

• In-depth knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) including advanced SQL coding, rela8onal database design, data warehousing

• Experience with Big Data plaYorms such as Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark

• Deep understanding of REST, good API design, and OOP principles

• Strong collabora8on and teamwork skills with excellent wriZen and verbal communica8ons skills

• Self-starter and mo8vated with ability to work in a fast-paced software development environment.

• Agile experience highly desirable

• Proficiency in the development environment, including IDE, database server, GIT, Con8nuous Integra8on, unit-tes8ng tool, and defect management tools.

• Basic understanding on soTware development programming languages like Java, Oracle PL/SQL.
