We are seeking a Senior ML Researcher to advance AI capabilities for robotics, focusing on enabling robots to understand dynamic environments and perform complex tasks physically.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models for robotic perception, planning, and control in dynamic real-world environments.
Research, prototype, and implement cutting-edge algorithms in deep learning, reinforcement learning, or multimodal learning, tailored to robotics.
Design and manage end-to-end ML pipelines — from data collection and labeling to training, evaluation, and deployment on embedded systems.
Collaborate closely with robotics, hardware, and software teams to integrate and optimize ML models for real-time performance.
Qualifications:
PhD/Master in Machine Learning, AI, Robotics, Computer Science, or related field.
Proficiency in multimodal models, modern ML architectures (e.g., transformers, diffusion models), and reinforcement learning.
Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
Publications on top-tier AI/Robotics conferences.
Requires 5 days/week in-office collaboration with the teams.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in designing high-quality ML experimentation and data pipelines.
Expertise in object pose estimation, bimanual manipulation, and synthetic data.
Familiarity with edge compute architectures and ML software engineering best practices.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
