Your mission

• Design how multiple drones coordinate in real-time
• Build task allocation and swarm planning logic
• Implement fallback and recovery strategies for swarm robustness
• Collaborate closely with autonomy and communication teams

Your profile

• Experience with multi-agent or distributed systems
• Strong background in ROS2 and DDS-based systems
• Familiarity with FSMs, behavior trees, or utility-based planning
• Systems thinking, not just code – you think across agents

• Intrinsic motivation and willingness to go the extra mile, as well as attention to detail
• Creativity that thinks outside the box as well as conceptual and systematic design thinking and disciplined execution
• Servant leadership that puts the success of the team above their ego
• Highest moral standards and work ethic
• We value extracurricular responsibilities and accomplishments on your resume
• Fluent in English or German
• Citizenship of a NATO member state or close ally is a must
• Successful applicants will be required to obtain a security clearance.
