Why We Hire
We are forming the AI & Data HR group to support the newly formed AI & Data division, which launched on August 1st and is a key contributor to Rakuten.
The AI & Data division is responsible for supporting the development of AI, by analyzing data of various Rakuten services and providing solutions to improve these services
We are looking for several experienced senior- to mid-level HRBPs. The HRBP will play a critical role in aligning HR strategy with business goals and leading HR initiatives. This individual will serve as a strategic partner and advisor to both management and employees, ensuring the successful implementation of HR programs and initiatives that support our business goals.
Position Details
Partner with your assigned department/division to ensure a deep understanding of the business strategy and implementation of high-quality HR practices within the organization.

Mandatory Qualifications
- HR generalist experience in a commercial company or consulting in the field of HR (Mid/Senior level: at least 3/8 years of work experience).
- Native Japanese speaker
Desired Qualifications
Senior-level HRBP
- HRBP experience in a large organization
- People management experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle ambiguous situations
- Global/cross cultural experience
- Business level English
Mid-level HRBP
- Experience in a large company as an HRBP/HR Generalist
