Job Description

As a Senior Manager, Data Science you will be challenged with analyzing relational databases and transactional information and respond to clients’ most pressing marketing concerns with analytical solutions like Machine Learning (logistic regression modeling, cluster analysis, decision trees, GBM, XGBoost, SVM etc), Business Analytics (profiling analysis, campaign analysis, customer lifecycle analysis etc) and ways to drive more personalized 1:1 marketing efforts leveraging information from a variety of sources (site, email, loyalty, etc.).

You will also lead multiple accounts and ensure their continuing success. This will involve being the contact for clients, understanding their challenges, coming up with analytical solutions to address these challenges and manage teams of analysts effectively to deliver results on time and with high quality. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate client and team management skills, business understanding, and logical reasoning. You will report to a Senior Director, Analytics.

Qualifications

WE WELCOME REMOTE CANDIDATES RESIDING IN THE US.

  • You will be ready to do hands-on work as well as manage your team’s work in performing advanced analytics tasks, including but not limited to Data Preparation, Machine Learning and Business Analytics using SQL, Python, PySpark
  • You will apply Generative AI techniques using the latest LLM’s (GPT-4o, LlaMa, Copilot etc) at scale to generate data and imagery for use in ML models and analyses
  • You will manage multiple clients and teams of up to 6 to 10 analysts
  • You will determine quantitative methods for solving client issues
  • You will consolidate and package up insights, analytic outputs, and action items into a, consumable package with actionable recommendations and strategies for marketers (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • You will consult with clients to understand their business challenges and translate them into executable analytics plans
  • You will support development of efficient and accurate project management plans for project delivery
  • You will have at least 7 years of analytics industry experience required
  • You will have at least a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Engineering required
  • You will have experience in SQL, R, Python, PySpark required
  • You must have experience with Machine Learning algorithms like XgBoost, Gradient Boosting, Random Forest, Linear Regression, Deep Learning, Clustering
  • You will have experience with applying LLM’s at scale a big plus
  • You will have an understanding of digital data including the systems and processes used to generate and manipulate it by media type (web, ad, email, mobile, etc.)
  • You will have experience in data visualization tools like Tableau

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000-$152,375. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
