Develop and execute comprehensive data analytics and AI strategies aligned with organizational goals
Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with business units across the organization
Lead the development and deployment of data analytics initiatives to support business needs
Ensure robust data governance, including data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
Negotiate and manage contracts and service agreements with external vendors to maximize value and efficiency
Present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
Identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency
Collaborate with business teams to integrate AI solutions into core business operations
Monitor emerging trends in AI and data analytics, and recommend innovative approaches for continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline
A minimum of 15 years of experience in data analytics, cloud computing, and AI.
Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, SAS, or other relevant data analysis tools
In-depth knowledge of general insurance products and operations, with hands-on experience in dynamic actuarial modeling, IFRS 17, and Risk-Based Capital frameworks
Demonstrated experience working with large datasets, managing data quality, and utilizing cloud infrastructure
Proven track record in leading analytics teams and managing vendor relationships
Excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English, with strong influencing and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
Strong problem-solving capabilities and stakeholder management skills
Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and a fast learner
