We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Senior Manager AI Governance Expert, reporting to the General Manager Data Governance Operations.

A bit about your role

As the Senior Manager AI Governance Expert, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the AI governance framework for nbn. This will aim to promote ethical and responsible AI development. This is an individual contributor role; you will partner with cross-functional teams across technology and business domains to ensure end-to-end alignment and adherence to governance standards.

You will play a pivotal role in training and consulting on best practices to ensure seamless integration into projects and programs. With a strong focus on Responsible AI, you will identify and mitigate reputational and regulatory risks, while supporting governance teams in executing the data operating model.

A bit about you

The successful candidate will bring demonstrated expertise in developing AI governance frameworks. You will have deep knowledge of regulatory and ethical AI standards and the ability to collaborate with technical teams to execute the framework. Moreover, you are skilled at asking the right questions, this will ensure alignment with the framework and governance policy rollout to achieve compliance.

With your strong leadership experience in cross-functional roles, you are comfortable inspiring collaboration across teams. If you are a forward-thinking leader who excels in cross-functional environments and is passionate about driving the future of AI governance this is the role for you.
