Let’s talk about the role
As a Senior MLE in the corporate systems domain, you will develop and deploy AI/ML models to optimize demand forecasting, financial planning, inventory management, and logistics. You’ll build production-grade systems, implement guardrails, benchmark models, and ensure smooth deployment for scalability and performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll help define technical roadmaps and drive AI adoption across the organization. Your role involves translating corporate systems problems into deployable AI/ML/OR solutions while advising teams on AI opportunities and limitations. You’ll work with global, high-achieving teams to enhance efficiency and innovation in supply chain operations.
Let's talk about responsibilities
Work in a high-performing team to design and implement cutting-edge AI/ML and optimization products
Develop guardrails, benchmarks, and best practices around AI/ML and optimization models
Spearhead the creation of POC and MVP applications to demonstrate AI/ML model value
Develop and deploy scalable, production-grade AI/ML and optimization applications
Facilitate design sessions to address complex AI challenges, offering insights to various company levels
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders from product management, operations, and data science to develop and deploy scalable production models
Mentor junior team members and foster best coding practices
Qualifications
Either: Masters or PhD in computer science, data science, operations research or other quantitative field and 3+ years of industry experience in Machine Learning Engineering and data science
Or: 5+ years of industry experience in data science and machine learning engineering
Extensive experience with machine learning systems, including feature/data pipelines, model training, and inference.
Expertise in python coding
5+ years of experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
Solid track record of serving ML models in production.
Experience with developing demand forecasting and other ML models on tabular data
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive experience in infrastructure tools like Terraform.
Experience with DevOps (deployments, observability, model monitoring), unit tests, and best coding practices.
Previous experience with developing or deploying Optimization applications particularly in supply chain and logistics domain.
Advanced knowledge of RESTful APIs, and industry-standard architectural design patterns.
Experience with parallel computing
