Your Mission:
As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be a foundational member of Hawk's internal IT function, responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing our corporate IT infrastructure, services, and security. You will contribute to and execute our IT operations strategy, ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and security of Hawk's internal systems. This role requires a strong technical background, hands-on expertise, and the ability to effectively support our employees and collaborate across departments, particularly with Information Security, to protect Hawk's assets and enable our rapid growth. You will be instrumental in shaping the IT landscape that supports our teams in Germany, USA, UK, Singapore, and future locations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • IT Systems & Infrastructure: Design, implement, and manage core IT infrastructure (networks, servers, hardware, office tech), including hardware lifecycle and disaster recovery.

  • Identity & Access Management (IAM): Implement and manage IdP/SSO solutions, contribute to the RBAC framework, and oversee user lifecycle processes.

  • Endpoint Management & Security: Administer MDM solutions for all corporate devices, implement security policies in collaboration with InfoSec, ensure device compliance, and support international endpoint deployment.

  • Application & SaaS Support: Administer key corporate SaaS applications, manage IT licenses/costs, and assist in Shadow IT discovery.

  • IT Support & Documentation: Provide expert IT support, establish effective support processes, and maintain comprehensive IT documentation.

  • Security & Compliance Collaboration: Work closely with InfoSec to implement security controls, support incident response and audits, and ensure IT compliance.

  • IT Operations & Improvement: Contribute to IT strategy, identify automation and efficiency opportunities, and stay current with relevant IT trends.

Your Profile:

  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in IT systems engineering, corporate IT, or systems administration, demonstrating a proven track record in implementing, managing, scaling, and supporting IT projects, systems, and environments. Experience in a rapidly growing technology company or a regulated industry is a plus.

Strong Technical Expertise:

  • Identity & Access Management: Deep experience with IdPs (e.g., Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, JumpCloud), SSO protocols (SAML, OIDC), and SCIM.

  • Endpoint Management: Proficient with MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf, Microsoft Intune, JumpCloud) for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

  • Operating Systems: Expertise in managing and securing Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.

  • Cloud Services: Strong experience administering Microsoft Office 365 and Entra ID. Familiarity with AWS and Google Cloud IAM is beneficial.

  • Networking: Solid understanding of corporate networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi, firewalls, NAC).

  • Endpoint Security: Experience with EDR/XDR solutions and endpoint protection best practices.

  1. Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices, with proven experience collaborating effectively with security teams and other departments.

  2. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, coupled with a proactive, results-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

  4. Experience with ITIL or similar service management frameworks is desirable.

  5. Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Okta, Jamf, CompTIA Network+/Security+) are highly desirable.
