As a Senior Expert Data Science (d/f/m) you will use your skills and expertise to optimize the development of biosimilars, reduce costs and time-to-market, increase success rates, and also pave the way for the development of the most complex biosimilars. You will also gain access to the world’s largest biosimilar development database in existence, which contains a wealth of information and insights that you can creatively leverage to achieve our goals.

Your key responsibilities: 

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable data pipelines to move and transform data in a way that is aligned with company strategy and goals.
  • Connect and interface diverse lab equipment and instruments to enable end-to-end data flows and automation.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Work closely with data scientists and analysts to provide data-driven insights and solutions.
  • Support lab automation efforts by developing and maintaining software tools and platforms to improve the efficiency of laboratory operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that meet those needs.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Smart Automation, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, Automation Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong programming skills.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preffered skills:

  • Experience in a laboratory setting or with lab automation tools.
  • Knowledge of various lab equipment and instruments.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
