As a Software Engineer in the Enterprise AI - Cloud infrastructure team, you will work with machine learning engineers not only within Woven by Toyota but throughout the Toyota Group and its vendors to build a robust, scalable machine learning platform
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FORWe are looking for candidates who are willing to work with a team and passionate about building efficient tools and frameworks to support workloads of Enterprise AI and allow the latest solutions for machine learning model development lifecycle. This is a hybrid role requiring your presence onsite 3 days per week, where you will report to a director of the engineering team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the entire team
- Work together with the member and other team leadership/product team to lead the product roadmap
- Ensure organizational health through goal setting, progress monitoring, and promoting the growth and training of team members
- Manage resources such as personnel, tools, budget, etc., ensuring allocation for the success of the project
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a scalable platform that supports our machine learning efforts
- Improve our distributed architecture, design new services and solutions, and build and track metrics to ensure the highest quality of development
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience.
- 7+ years of professional software development with 3+ years of experience managing a technical team and working with the product team
- Design, communicate, and build new features to meet the needs of customers both inside and outside of Woven Planet
- Experience with event-driven, distributed and cloud architectures with agile scrum development workflow. Familiarity with cloud environments and IaC (ex. AWS, GCP, Terraform)
- Experience with CI/CD tools, test automation, build tools development
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience building large distributed applications with Go, Python, and TypeScript services, using a variety of databases
- Experience building cloud-agnostic tools using Kubernetes and Go
- Knowledge of MLOps, DevOps or GitOps workflows, setting up automation infrastructure using modern tools
