We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director to lead the development of an innovative agentic platform within Trimble’s AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations) sector . This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving our strategic vision to revolutionize the AECO industry through advanced AI-powered agentic solutions. The successful candidate will leverage their deep expertise in AECO processes and technology, alongside a robust understanding of AI and machine learning, to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and productivity across the industry.

As the Senior Director, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of the platform's development, from conceptualization to deployment and continuous improvement. Your role will involve close collaboration with stakeholders, including internal teams, industry partners, and customers, to align the platform's capabilities with market needs and regulatory requirements. A core aspect of your role will be working across existing sectors and business areas to build bridges and create a cross-Trimble AI platform approach, fostering synergy and integrating efforts.

In addition to technical leadership, you will help shape the strategic direction of AECO’s AI initiatives by identifying emerging trends, evaluating new technologies, and participating in technology and commercial partnerships that enhance our platform's offerings. Your strategic insights will be essential in positioning our AI platform as a leader in the AECO space, driving adoption, and creating substantial value for partners and customers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end development of an advanced agentic platform for the AECO sector, from conceptualization through to deployment and continuous improvement.

  • Build, manage, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, data scientists, and industry experts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Establish and maintain a clear strategic vision and roadmap for the platform, ensuring alignment with industry trends and market needs.

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and internal teams, to gather requirements and ensure the platform meets regulatory and market demands.

  • Drive innovation by identifying and integrating emerging technologies and best practices into the platform development process.

  • Set ambitious performance goals, track progress, and implement improvements to drive team efficiency and project success.

  • Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, positioning the platform as a leader in the AECO sector and building strategic partnerships to enhance its capabilities.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Extensive experience in the AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations) sector, with a strong understanding of industry processes and technology.

  • Proven track record of leading and managing multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, data scientists, and industry experts.

  • Demonstrated expertise in AI and machine learning, with experience in developing and deploying AI-powered solutions.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee complex projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Hands-on experience with building web applications and platforms, demonstrating a deep understanding of development frameworks and technologies.

  • Extensive experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including familiarity with their services related to AI and data analytics.

Bonus Skills/Experience:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration.

  • Experience with regulatory requirements and standards within the AECO industry.

  • Prior experience in a senior leadership role within a technology company focused on the AECO sector.

  • Experience in developing strategic partnerships and representing the company at industry events and conferences.
