Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join the Data Science team and take over the technical lead in ensuring smooth and safe software delivery and stable operations of our AI solutions. Being part of the Data Science team, you can play an active role in shaping, discussing, learning and experiencing developments in an exciting field. You can become part of a great team in which everyone pulls together.

Responsibilities

  • You support our team and members from other teams with your knowledge and experience
  • You take responsibility for improving our software delivery and operation processes
  • You take the lead in diagnosing system failures or performance degradations, and work on preventing future incidents by analyzing root causes and implementing preventive measures
  • You continually review monitoring and alerting of the infrastructure and make improvements

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in the role.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Solid experience with a K8s environment
  • Solid software engineering skills (Python)
  • Good understanding of GIT workflows, CI/CD + working with Data and Unit Tests
  • Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting production grade data systems (Grafana, Prometheus/Victoria Metrics, Centreon, PagerDuty)
  • Solid experience with running and operating tools like Postgres, Kafka and Redis (+ cluster), Solr/Opensearch, tensorflow, Docker
  • Ideally experience with operating a vector DB
  • Desired: Python, gRPC, Tensorflow, SQL
  • Be physically located within European timezones
