Your work as a Data Scientist will be central to these efforts.

Based in our modern Vilnius office, you'll engage in projects that support the Nordic countries. Working closely with our development team, you'll integrate solutions into our offerings, from the Mobile Bank and eBank to our website and frontline advisers. The models you develop will anticipate customer needs and life events, delivering personalised messages and enhancing our marketing strategies. Your work will also advance the automation of data, AI, and ML solutions aligned with Danske Bank’s commercial goals.

You will:

  • Develop predictive machine learning model of customer wants, needs and behavior
  • Explore data to create and define proper features used as input to ML solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, robustness and accuracy by implementing robust testing methodologies and frameworks
  • Create definitions and logic of various data elements while closely collaborating with business units
  • Conduct advanced data analysis to uncover valuable insights and trends
  • Visualize data and findings using tools and packages
  • Communicate results and findings for the stakeholders
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders and other teams to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions and improvements

About you:

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis and data science (preferably in the banking, financial or marketing sectors)
  • Strong Python coding experience
  • At least intermediate proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with hands-on data analysis and visualization
  • Proficiency in data storytelling and ability to translate data-driven insights into compelling narratives and commercial opportunities
  • Passion and curiosity for data science and advanced analytics field
  • Proven ability to work proactively and independently address the challenges
  • Experience with Spark (would be a great plus)
  • Former exposure to cloud service like AWS (would be a great plus)
  • Upper-Intermediate English language skills

Monthly salary range from 4160 EUR to 6240 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
