YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• Lead the data science efforts behind planning and optimizing SIXT’s rental car fleet.
• Guide and mentor a team of 2-3 data scientists to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, helping them leverage data for strategic decision-making.
• Develop explainable long-term demand forecasts that drive fleet planning and investment strategies.
• Build optimization and simulation models to enable data-driven fleet steering decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business, engineering, and product—to bring your solutions to production.
• Effectively communicate your insights to both technical and business stakeholders.

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• You have strong background in Data Science, Machine Learning, and/or Optimization.
• You are proficient in Python and cloud platforms (ideally AWS).
• You have experience in with machine learning models in production.
• You have Passion for learning, decision intelligence, and solving complex business problems.
• You have excellent stakeholder management and data science evangelism skills.
• You are fluent in English, comfortable working in a multinational environment.
• Big Plus: Proven experience in Revenue Management and/or Operations Research.
