Senior Data Scientist (The Prudential Insurance Company of America, Newark, NJ)
Develop and maintain consultative relationships with key business stakeholders; Identify, source, transform and join public, proprietary and internal data sources; Model large structured and unstructured data sources (e.g., financial transactional, time-series, text, speech/audio, and image); Implement advanced statistical methods for prediction and optimization including a wide variety of machine learning technologies (logit, regression, decision trees/forests, boosted models, clustering, etc.) for purposes including explorative analysis, survival analysis, segmentation, prediction and recommendation systems; Perform analysis and implement solutions that maximize business impact; Prepare and present written and verbal reports to key stakeholders; Execute all aspects of an advanced analytical project under guidance.
Telecommuting permitted up to 60% per week, $170,373.00 per year.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field and 4 years of related work experience. Alternatively, a PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field and 1 year of related work experience will be accepted.
Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in all of the following:
Telecommuting: Telecommuting permitted up to 60% per week.
