You will be joining our dynamic Zurich pod, a part of the larger Generative AI Crew. This Crew falls under the umbrella of the Group Emerging Technology (GET) division at Group Operations and Technology Office (GOTO). This exciting opportunity places you at the cutting edge of technology innovation. As a key member of our global Crew with active pods in Singapore and India, you will delve into the exciting realm of emerging technologies, working on high-impact projects that bring substantial value to our company and help build Gen AI capabilities.
• advanced degree in quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline
• at least 5 years of professional experience in a Data Scientist role
• extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with machine learning models for classification, clustering, and anomaly detection, particularly for Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks
• hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus
• experience with computer vision and speech tasks is a plus
• proficiency in writing production-level Python code and utilizing the Python scientific stack for data analysis, machine learning, and NLP
• experience in deploying models in cloud environments
• excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• a self-starter with a proactive and driven mindset, able to excel in a lean and fast-paced environment; strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on practical and implementable solutions
• excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of explaining complex models to various stakeholders; a team player interested in building a network across a global organization
