Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to lead a key project within their Supply Chain domain. This role requires deep expertise in Dataiku, machine learning, and data science, with a focus on developing and deploying advanced models that drive business outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models using Dataiku, focusing on improving supply chain processes.
• Implement advanced supervised learning techniques, optimization algorithms, and hypothesis testing to address complex business challenges.
• Drive the integration of machine learning solutions into the supply chain ecosystem, ensuring scalability, reliability, and robustness in a production-grade environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various functions to understand business needs and translate them into data science solutions.
• Oversee the use of Databricks for managing data pipelines, data engineering tasks, and supporting the MLOps lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Dataiku: Minimum 5+ years of expert-level experience with Dataiku, including hands-on experience in data preparation, model development, and deployment.
• Data Science and Machine Learning: Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis. Strong expertise in supervised learning, optimization techniques, and hypothesis testing.
• Python: Advanced proficiency in Python for data manipulation, machine learning model development, and scripting.
• Databricks: Solid experience with Databricks for data engineering, pipeline management, and collaboration.
• MLOps: Deep understanding of MLOps processes, with a proven track record of deploying and managing machine learning models in production

Leadership and Collaboration:

• Demonstrated ability to lead data science projects from conception to production.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding junior team members.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on driving business value through data science.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the supply chain domain.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of additional machine learning frameworks and tools.
