Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team. This role will focus on leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques, particularly in natural language processing (NLP) using models like Llama and GPT, and frameworks such as Langchain. 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as Data Scientist, with at least 1-2 years focused on GenAI.

• Strong proficiency in Python and its data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn).

• Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., Llama, GPT) and their application in real-world scenarios.

• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Langchain.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning and development.

• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end machine learning solutions, from data preprocessing to model deployment.

• Deep understanding of advanced LLMs and their implementation in diverse applications.

• Experience with scalable data processing and distributed computing frameworks.

• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and experimental design.

• Ability to mentor junior team members and drive technical initiatives within the organization

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy advanced algorithms and models using LLMs such as Llama and GPT to solve complex problems in natural language processing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data pipelines and machine learning workflows.

• Utilize frameworks like Langchain to optimize data processing and model training for performance and scalability.

• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and trends that drive business decisions.

• Communicate findings and technical solutions to stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Additional Information

Location: within Jalisco, Mexico (working from home - office won't be mandatory all the time, rather it will required from time to time).
