You will be joining the Neo Data team within UBS Investment Bank to develop high performance streaming applications and use cutting edge machine learning technologies. You will work closely Architect, Developers using the Platform, Quality Assurance and Security professionals.
You have:
– Knowledge and hands-on project experience in statistical data analysis, machine learning algorithms, natural language processing (NLP) techniques, coupled with a good understanding of their real-world advantages/drawbacks
– Broad understanding and hands-on experience in developing digital solutions by applying machine learning and deep learning models for classification, clustering, anomaly detection, text recognition and natural language processing (NLP) etc.
– Highly driven and motivated with a can-do attitude; eager to continuously learn and solve complex problems, focusing on practical and implementable solutions
– Ability to explain complex models on a suitable aggregation level to various stakeholders, interested in building a network across a global organization
– Experience in end-to-end delivery of data science/analytics projects including end-to-end development of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions from data preparation and cleansing, to building and evaluating machine learning models and visualizing data
– Basic knowledge of ML Ops (model lifecycle, setting up environments, using pipelines etc.)
– Familiarity with machine learning model development workflow, good understanding of data exploration, data processing and feature engineering techniques, and experience to develop and deploy machine learning solutions end-to-end
– Experience with Azure AI Search, including indexing, querying, cognitive search capabilities, and integration with AI-driven data processing is a valuable addition.
– Experience of database and analytical technologies in the industry and ability to manipulate data and develop models for business consumption
– Ability to take an open stack approach towards problem solving and building production ready solutions
– Hands-on experience of using programming languages (Python, SQL skills etc.) and familiarity with software development methodology
– Strong working knowledge of Python and solid understanding of SQL for data wrangling, data analysis and modelling
– Proven ability to write production-level code in Python, as well as experience with Python libraries for data analysis (SciPy, NumPy, pandas, Matplotlib), machine learning (scikit-learn), deep learning (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch) and NLP (NLTK, spaCy, Gensim)
– Usage of code versioning control systems and project tracking tools (e.g., GitLab, JIRA etc.)
– Excited by new technologies and with a willingness to learn new skills and think about complex problems
– Knowledge of predictive analytics techniques such as regression, factor analysis, time series, reinforcement learning etc. is a plus
– Experience with Cloud Computing is a plus
– Experience with Big Data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka etc.) is a plus
– Expertise in visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus
– experience with Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure) and containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
– experience with data streaming and storage technology (Kafka, ELK stack) would be a plus
– fluent in English
– fluency with UNIX command line tools.
– knowledge of agile development practices (Scrum, XP, Kanban etc)
– experience with project and issue tracking tools (JIRA, etc.)
