Senior Analyst - Ads Incentive Tech

About the Team:

The Ads Incentive team is a strategic unit withinAds Marketing team in Google that drives the optimization of incentive-based acquisitions. We focus on developing and implementing effective incentive strategies, building cutting-edge incentive technology, streamlining processes, and providing comprehensive data analysis and reporting. Our goal is to attract high-value customers, increase incrementality, and maximize revenue through tailored incentive programs.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Ads Incentive team's mission. You will leverage your data analysis expertise, scripting skills, and business acumen to drive data-driven decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:

• Advanced Data Modeling and Analysis: Develop and maintain complex data models to support strategic initiatives. Conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making.
• Dashboard Development: Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate key metrics and performance indicators to stakeholders.
• Ad-hoc Requests and Reporting: Respond promptly to ad-hoc data requests and provide timely, accurate reporting to support business needs.
• Process Automation: Develop and maintain automation assets using Apps Script to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in analysis and reporting.
• Program Management: Assist stakeholders in maintaining Ads incentive programs and data quality and adhoc analysis on pilot programs.

Qualifications:

• 5-6+ years of experience in Business Analytics or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience in consulting or a similar role, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills.
• A deep understanding of business processes and the ability to identify and articulate key reporting needs.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Apps Script (preferred).
• Experience with process automation and creating data tools.
• Familiarity with digital advertising and incentive-based programs is a plus.
• Expertise in leading data visualization tools and the ability to present findings and insights in a compelling manner.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and a strong understanding of data structures.
• The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for data-driven problem-solving and a strong analytical mindset.
