What will you do? 

Our Medical Advisory department ensures clinical excellence for EVYD’s products. In this role, you will be responsible for EVYD Technology’s clinical excellence by incorporating best practices and clinical guidelines into solutions and keeping up to date with the latest developments in health technology. You will serve as one of the subject matter experts (SME) for all clinical-related or data science-related matters and play a key role in driving EVYD's business growth. This role reports to the Manager, Medical Advisory, and is based in Brunei Darussalam. 

Your key responsibilities include: 

• Provide subject matter expertise on data science-related matters, specifically in the healthcare field. 

• (If applicable) Provide subject matter expertise on clinical-related matters in terms of understanding healthcare workflows in primary and secondary prevention of chronic diseases and general hospital workflows in triage, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of diseases. Emphasis will be placed on following clinical and scientific guidelines so that EVYD’s products have robust scientific and clinical backing. 

• Support the crafting and product localization for healthcare and clinical solutions, including our population health products such as digital therapeutics. 

• Support the integration of AI into solutions through the crafting of knowledge databases, medical logic, and development of machine learning algorithms. 

• Analyse outcome measures to assess effectiveness and efficiency of programmes to recommend modifications to ensure value-based care. 

• Support business activities for EVYD by engaging with clients and external partners where required. 

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in health technology, health AI, real-world evidence and machine learning techniques - Assess new health technologies and products from a medical perspective to provide recommendations on their effectiveness, potential risks, and possible developments. 

• Support research projects through co-leading project management, simple data analysis and write up. 

• Contribute to the development of white papers, thought leadership articles, and other materials that demonstrate the company's expertise in the healthcare industry. 

Travel Requirements: 

Travel may be required for this role (up to 10%).

• Bonus: Proven experience or knowledge in product research and development, and software development lifecycle.
• Bonus: Healthcare or life science background to create deliverables including but not limited to knowledge repositories, nudge and health libraries, clinical workflows and other UI/UX reviews, user labels, and health recommendations 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Health Informatics, Biostatistics, or related fields.  
• Conversant in spoken and written English and Malay.
