We are seeking a dynamic Senior Associate to serve as the Financial Analysis Lead for the Chase Strategic Priority (CSP) AI Ecosystem and Machine Learning & Intelligent Operations (MLIO) product within the Consume & Community Banking (CCB) Operations product portfolio. This role is integral to the product leadership team, overseeing financial analysis, including technology investments and revenue/benefits impacting Operations organizations firmwide.

As a Senior Associate in CCB Operations Product Porfolio, you will collaborate with CCB and Commercial & Investment Banking (CIB) Operations executives, Product Owners, Technology leaders, Business Analysis & Capacity Planning, and Finance and Analytics partners. You will develop meaningful business insights, identify opportunities to enhance business value, create budgets and forecasts, conduct monthly actuals reporting, and prepare senior executive presentations.

Job responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the financial planning process, including long-term strategic planning and short-term forecasting, to support business objectives.
  • Business Analysis and Financial Modeling: Perform detailed business analysis and develop financial models for AI/ML capabilities firmwide to evaluate product performance and support decision-making and prioritization of initiatives.
  • Product P&L Reporting: Manage and report on the product's profit and loss, ensuring accurate tracking of revenue, expenses, and profitability. 
  • Utilize Advanced Tools for Reporting: Leverage tools like Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with JPMorgan's financial systems, to create insightful reports and analyses.
  • Collaborate with Product Teams: Work closely with product teams to quantify and model the financial value of product features, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Manage Product P&L and Budgets: Oversee the product's financial performance, including managing technology investments and budgets, to optimize resource allocation.
  • Communicate Product Benefits: Effectively communicate the financial benefits of products to key stakeholders, including the CCB COO, CIB COO, General Managers, Business leaders in Operations firmwide, Operations Head of Product, Operations CFO, and broader Finance teams.
  • Track Expenses for Key Initiatives: Monitor and report on expenses related to key initiatives, ensuring financial discipline and accountability.
  • Support Ad Hoc Requests: Respond to ad hoc requests from the Business, Senior Management, and CCB and CIB P&A, providing timely and accurate financial information and analysis.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting, analysis, and overall operational efficiency.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of related work experience in Financial Services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related technical/business field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strategic and execution capabilities.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Team player respected as a trusted business partner.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for articulating complex issues.
  • Inquisitive, enthusiastic, and diligent, capable of providing credible challenge.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  •  PitchPro skills/experience is a plus.

Candidates must be able to physically work in our Wilmington, DE office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.
