Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to join the System Modeler department. The Senior Applications Engineer will use their expertise in algorithm development, data science and systems engineering to help our customers solve their problems. The ideal candidate will be technically skilled, solution driven and passionately curious about wanting to work at the forefront of systems engineering.ResponsibilitiesUsing expertise in algorithm development, data science and systems engineering to help our customers solve their problemsWorking in areas such as data science, machine learning, AI, image processing, mechatronics, control systems and thermodynamicsWorking with a variety of different projects using multiple programming languages, such as C++, Python, Modelica and Wolfram LanguageQualificationsAbility to communicate effectively with others in English and Swedish, including proficiency in written and verbal communication and strong listening skillsAbility to react quickly and adapt to changes in priorities, circumstances and directionMaster's degree in engineering or a related fieldExpertise in at least one of the following or similar areas: machine learning, image processing, mechatronics, control design and thermodynamicsProgramming proficiency in C++, C or PythonPreferred qualificationsExperience in at least one of the following or similar areas: automotive, energy or gamingWolfram Language experienceModelica experienceLocation: Linköping, SwedenWolfram is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at its company.
